There's the anonymity with the internet. No one really needs to know who you are, so people are more relaxed, and can express themselves a lot easier. You can also meet people from anywhere in the world. In real life you just meet people ( most of the time ) from your own town. The internet has no boundaries. If you meet someone you don't like on the internet it's easy to never have to see them again. If they don't know anything about you they can never get in contact with you. It's an element of safety.
