Real life was always cruel….virtual life is always magic …the magic where everyone can be smb not real and much nicer then in real life….

I don’t prefer getting “acquainted on the Internet instead of real life”.
When I’ve had enough of this man-made technological contraption,
which is quite often, I turn it off and go hang out/communicate with
“real people”.

Well, it doesn´t matter what your heart’s desire is, you can probably find it by browsing through online dating services directory. Online dating has unlimited possibilities.

Karin i agree with you. But as a women, i can say, that sometimes i wish men came to me at street, instead they send me few hundreds e-mails at dating site.

There are many reasons I think people like to meet other people on the internet.
There’s the anonymity with the internet. No one really needs to know who you are, so people are more relaxed, and can express themselves a lot easier.
You can also meet people from anywhere in the world. In real life you just meet people ( most of the time ) from your own town. The internet has no boundaries.
If you meet someone you don’t like on the internet it’s easy to never have to see them again. If they don’t know anything about you they can never get in contact with you. It’s an element of safety.

Candida you are right. But in it i think the main problam. Very often people lie at the web. So it is heavy to find real person. And time pass, with every time when somebody lie to you, it is more and more heavy to belive…sorry for my english, i hope u understand what i wanna say
